The material you find in this blog, was originally for the members of Gloucester City's Infamous Squad 51 only. With the blogs main purpose being geared towards training, pre-incident planning, and of course to assist with the communication process becoming more stream lined we decided to open our blog up to everyone.

BROOKLAWN 9/11/2001 MEMORIAL PARK
Members of Squad 51 were invited to Brooklawn, NJ to have the chance at taking part in the final stages of construction. This Sept. 11th memorial was built 100% from donations, E.P. Henry alone donated almost 40,000 dollars in pavers alone. Members got to write there names on a brick just before it was placed in the monument, which was extremely admirable of the builders. For those of you who dont know, some of the members of Squad 51 are also members of NJTF1, which is the states Urban Search and Rescue Team. Several of our members were activated to respond the day the towers came down, and worked on the pile for days before returning home to there loved one!
A special thanks to Brooklawn Police Captain Samen for the opportunity to take part in this historic event. Members working that day were: BC C.Sanderson, Capt. M. Campanel, FF K. Dillon, FF P. Hagan, and FF J. Tuttle
